Dr. Jennifer Byun

Optometrist

Dr. Jennifer Byun O.D.  completed honours bachelor of science at University of Toronto downtown campus, then moved to Boston to continue her optometry studies at the prestigious New England College of Optometry. During her studies, she has trained at the Perkins School for the Blind helping special needs children with low vision, and at Boston Medical Center assisting traumatic eye injury, congenital cataract, or keratoconus patients with specialty contact lenses.

Dr. Byun provides comprehensive eye care including contact lens fitting, dry eye management, laser eye surgery co-management, diabetic visual assessment and low vision consultation. Dr Byun also works at an ophthalmology practice in Toronto assisting glaucoma and keratoconus management. 

Dr. Byun has just recently got LASIK surgery to correct her myopia and is excited to share her experience with her patients. 

Dr. Byun has a commitment to providing the best eye-care and developing great relationships with patients to better serve their needs. She is fluent in Korean and welcomes patients of all ages!

Dr. Patrick Cheung

Optometrist

Dr. Patrick Cheung was born and raised in the GTA. He then went on to the University of Waterloo to complete both his Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Optometry degrees. He is proud to offer residents of York Region a highly personalized style of eye care.

Dr. Cheung's clinical training includes an Ocular Disease externship at the Eye Associates of Pinellas in Florida, where he treated and managed conditions such as dry eye, diabetic retinopathy, cataracts, glaucoma and macular degeneration. He also completed a Laser Eye Surgery internship at LASIK MD, preforming consultations and post surgery management for laser eye surgery. Furthermore, he trained at the Guelph Vision Therapy Centre and is currently involved with vision therapy for the treatment and management of concussions and eye related reading and learning problems. 

In addition to providing comprehensive eye care, Dr. Cheung's clinical interests include contact lenses, myopia control and vision therapy. He is passionate about using the most advanced knowledge, technologies and products in the eye care world to provide personalized eye care, and to ensure his patients have healthy eyes and clear vision.
